5 days Desert tour from Marrakech

Day 01: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley:

This will be a 5 days Desert tour from Marrakech, traveling from Marrakech in the morning to the Dades Gorges. On the way, passing first through the High Atlas Mountains, you will see the Tizi-n-Tichka pass and the many camps of the nomadic Berber peoples that inhabit the area.
The tour now continues along the route to Ouarzazate, crossing the Valley of the Roses and arriving at the Dades Gorges, where the so-called “route of the thousand kasbahs” begins.
Overnight in the Dades Valley and dinner at the hotel / Riad.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra – Erfoud – Merzouga Sahara:

We start our 5 day tour from Marrakech to the Desert with breakfast at the hotel. The tour begins in the Todra Gorges. This place offers a pleasant walk between its impressive canyon walls over 200 meters high, until the exit to the desert through the palm grove of Tafilalet.
Upon arrival at the hotel at the foot of the great dunes, where we can stroll quietly, contemplate the fine dunes of Erg Chebbi and contemplate the spectacular scenery. In the evening, you can enjoy a delicious Moroccan dish and settle into a room in the spectacular hotel.

Day 3: Merzouga – Excursion Erg Chebbi – Merzouga desert:

After a hearty Moroccan breakfast, you will be driven in the 4×4 to begin the tour of the Erg Chebbi dunes, a desert region populated by sand, which is among the many stops that await you. We continue our 5 days tour from Marrakech to the Desert, where you can discover how and where the nomadic desert families live, wild oasis in the middle of nowhere, spectacular landscapes and small desert villages, as well as beautiful palm trees…. This is an unavoidable stop on the way to the city of Khamlia. This is where the Malians perform a good show of Gnawa music for the tourists, while savoring a delicious tea.
Back at the hotel, the camels are waiting to embark on an hour and a half ride through the dunes to the heart of the desert to watch the beautiful sunset, where everyone takes refuge in the Great Dune while enjoying music, drums, dinner and Moroccan tea. Everyone can contemplate the immense sky of stars and sleep in nomad tents.

Day 04: Merzouga desert – Rissani – Tazarine – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate:

This morning, after waking up, tourists can contemplate the spectacular sunrise over the dunes of the Moroccan Sahara and return to the hotel with the camels.
After enjoying the spectacular sunrise and returning to the hotel, breakfast will be served and preparations will be made to start the journey to Rissani. This route is known for being the most authentic and traditional souk in Morocco, and the largest in the south of the country. It sells all kinds of handicrafts, food and animals.
We continue our 5 days Desert tour from Marrakech until we reach Ouarzazate. This route runs between the beauty of the Draa Valley and its thousands of palm trees. Night and dinner at the hotel.

Day 05: Ouarzazate – Cine Studio – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech:

After breakfast, visit the fabulous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. It is famous for being the setting for more than twenty films such as “Babel”. You will be able to follow the trail leading to one of the best kasbahs in the country, Telouet. You can also visit its interior.
On the way back to Marrakech, you will admire the beautiful mountain road full of villages inhabited by Berbers. Upon arrival in Marrakech, end of our 5 days Desert tour from Marrakech.
