Enjoy the 8 days South Atlantic and Atlas fortified towns, Marrakech, Essaouira, Agadir, Sidi ifni…..

Itinerary:

Day 1: Marrakech

Welcome at Marrakech airport and transfer to your Riad in the medina of Marrakech. Day at leisure.

Arrival is also possible via Casablanca.

Day 2: Marrakech – Essaouira

Delivery of your vehicle to the Riad and departure for Essaouira. Just over two hours on an excellent road. Settle into your Riad in the heart of Essaouira’s medina. A private Riad with top-quality facilities run by a Moroccan couple who will offer you a particularly warm welcome and good advice for your stay in Essaouira. You won’t have long to spend touring the ramparts and arcaded lanes. Stroll through the souk, the port and sit down to a fish dinner on a restaurant terrace.

Day 3: Essaouira

A day to discover Essaouira. Essaouira, the ancient Mogador, is a magnificent and unique city. Here, the West meets the East like nowhere else in Morocco. The city, nestled within its pink ramparts, faces the ocean. It has become a charming place to stay, offering travelers a true art of living: lively streets, terraced restaurants, beaches, walks along the ramparts…

Day 4: Essaouira – Agadir – Souss Massa

Departure for the south via the magnificent coastal road to Agadir and further south to the Oued Massa nature reserve. You’ll be staying in a guesthouse overlooking a long stretch of fine sand. You’re in an exceptional location, right in the heart of the Souss-Massa National Park and its bird sanctuary.

Day 5: Souss Massa – Mirleft

Back on the road to Mirleft. This 100-kilometer stage runs along beaches where nature still has full rights. In Mirleft, a small fishing port backing onto the ocean, a guesthouse surrounded by the sea awaits you. This southern Kasbah, with a 360° view of the ocean, reflects the ancestral skills of Moroccan craftsmen. Here, you can relax or discover the hinterland and the former Spanish enclave of Sidi Ifni, just a few kilometers away.

Day 6: Mirleft – Taroudant

Head north to Marrakech. Visit Taroudant, a medieval city famous for its red ramparts and souk.

Day 7: Taroudant – Marrakech

You then cross the Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Test pass at 2100 meters and magnificent mountain roads. Crossing the Tizi n’Test is a highlight for any Atlas traveler. Return the vehicle to Marrakech at the end of the day. Installation in a Riad in the medina.

Day 8: Marrakech airport

After breakfast, private transfer to Marrakech airport. For an additional charge, we can organize a transfer to Casablanca airport.

Everything is very well organized and done with great care. The tour itself is a great experience, with incredible landscapes, but the organization and facilities, from the departure to the return is the highlight. Thank you very much Hassan!

I was in Morocco recently and we booked a desert tour with a group of friends from work. The Sahara Morocco team gave us a fantastic experience from Marrakech to the Zagora Desert, with 4x4 cars and guides who spoke Portuguese. It was a two-day tour with a few stops at tourist attractions and a night spent camping in the desert. It was an unforgettable trip for our group, we rode dromedaries, enjoyed the sunset, had dinner in the tent and a campfire with music, all very pleasant. I highly recommend it!

I went with a guide from this team called Hassan, from Marrakech to Essaouira. He was punctual, friendly and took me to the main places I wanted to see. Marrakech and Essaouira are fantastic! When I return to Morocco I will contact Sahara Morocco Tours again.
