Day trip from Fes to Volubilis & Meknes

On the Day Trip to Volubilis & Meknes, pick up from your Riad in Fes, and depart to Volubilis, the ancient Roman city where the most important archaeological remains of Morocco are located.
In Volubilis, we will have free time to visit the area. We will be here as long as you need, usually between 1 and 2 hours. If you wish, at the entrance you can hire an official guide in English.
After enjoying the impressive Roman remains, we will approach Mulay Idris, one of the most important pilgrimage centers in Morocco. It is a small town where you can see the most interesting parts of the medina in less than an hour.
The third stop will be Meknes, the most “humble” of the Four Imperial Cities of Morocco. In Meknes, you will have free time to have lunch and visit the most important places of the city, visit the souk or enjoy a coffee in the square.
Around 6:30 p.m. we will head back to Fez. We will drop you off at your hotel or wherever you want.
