8 days Morocco tour from Agadir

Day 1: Agadir – Taroudant – Ouarzazate

During our 8 days Morocco tour from Agadir, you will travel via Taroudant to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Great South. Visit the city, one of the oldest in Morocco, which has retained the character of its past. In the souk you can admire the neat work of the artisans. Drive on to Ouarzazate and arrive for lunch. Explore the town, located at the confluence of the Draa and Dades rivers, and visit the Kasbah of Taurirt, followed by a photo stop at the Kasbah of Tifultut. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Ouarzazate – Todra gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga desert

After breakfast we drive to Todra Gorge, stop to visit the Kasbah of Amridil in the palm forest of Skoura, then continue to the Rose Valley and Dades Valley, reach Todra where we stop for lunch and walk through the palm forest in Todra Valley. We stop at the marble fossils of Erfoud before continuing our journey to Erfoud via Tineidad and several Berber villages. We then continue our journey to the impressive dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzoug. You will leave the vehicle (4×4) and transfer to the vehicle (8×8) to continue the camel trek and admire the sunset in the dunes. You will spend the night under the tents of Saharan nomads to enjoy the silence of the desert and the starry sky. Dinner and overnight in the bivouac.

Day 3: Merzouga – Tazarin – Zagora

Early rise to admire the sunrise over the dunes. Return to the inn by camel, breakfast and shower. We leave the dunes of Merzouga and head towards the Tafilalet palm through the villages of Rissani, Alnif, Tazarin and N’kob. We continue to Zagora and cross the Draa Valley. Day 4: Zagora – Daraa Valley – Agdz – Ouarzazate

In the morning, we continue our journey to Tansicht and the Draa Valley. After our journey, we discover the small villages and the beautiful kasbahs of the great palm grove of Agdz. We continue to Ouarzazate and cross the Anti-Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-en-Tinifft Pass (1660 m).

Day 5: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Marrakech

Depart in the morning for Aït Ben Haddou to visit one of the most beautiful kasbahs in Morocco (UNESCO World Heritage Site). You will follow the Onila Valley to the kasbah of Teloué. In the afternoon, continue to Marrakech via the Tizi N’Tichka Pass (2260 m), passing through several Berber villages before arriving in Marrakech. Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 6: Guided tour of Marrakech.

This day is dedicated to a tour of the red city of Marrakech. You will visit the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia, the city’s largest mosque, the famous Jama el Fna Square, the incredible Majorelle Gardens and the colorful souks where artisans revive their heritage. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Marrakech – Unaga – Essaouira

In the morning, visit the outskirts of Marrakech: the Menara Gardens with a beautiful olive grove around a pond and pavilion, the Rempart Tower, the city’s true pink mud belt and the expanses of palm trees. After lunch depart for Essaouira, an attractive port city, the former Mogador of the Portuguese. Explore the city with its ancient fishing port and high-quality crafts. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Essaouira – Agadir airport
