Advices :
Climate: The climate in Morocco depends on the area of the country. In the North of Morocco we find a Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild and humid winters.
In the Atlas area the summers are hot and the winters are cold, reaching temperatures below 0ºC.
The Atlantic Coast of Morocco enjoys a more temperate summer and a wetter winter.
The city of Marrakech has an average temperature of 38ºC in summer and 21ºC in spring.
Best time to go: Any time is a good time to visit Morocco. My favorite times would be spring and autumn when temperatures are milder and more pleasant.
Recommended duration of the trip: Depending on the area we are going to visit it would be advisable to dedicate some time or another. A 4 or 6-day trip to Marrakech is perfect but if we want to visit the desert we will need at least a week. The northern area with cities like Tetouan, Fez, and Chaouen can be visited within a minimum of 10 days.
Flight: We recommend looking for cheap flights to Morocco in the search engine Skyscanner. We have good combinations from Spain to cities like Marrakech and Fez.
Language: The official language in Morocco is Arabic and Berber. But in more tourist places people speak English. In the northern part of Morocco, it is very common that people also speak some Spanish.
Visa: Citizens of Spain only need a valid passport with a validity of 6 months to enter Morocco.
Currency: The official currency in Morocco. We recommend you request your currency exchange in Exact Change. The best exchange without commissions and home delivery.
Travel insurance: It is essential to travel to Morocco with good insurance. We leave you our 5% discount on Iati insurance, the best travel insurance.
