During these 5 days in Morocco from Tangier, you will visit the most amazing places in Morocco. The tour also includes a guided visit to Fez. As well as a visit to the Moroccan capital Rabat and Meknes.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen

Pick up at Tangier Airport/Port, start of our 5 Days Morocco itinerary from Tangier to the Rif Mountains, crossing the city of Tetouan. To make the most of the breathtaking scenery, we will stop at the foot of the Rif Mountains, in the small town of Chefchaouen. The medina of this city is heavily influenced by the Spanish structure, as it was once part of the “Spanish Morocco”. It is also home to a large number of rooftop restaurants and cafes, also in its riads, where you can enjoy the rest of the afternoon with a nice breeze and great views.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknès – Fez

After a delicious breakfast, the itinerary continues to Volubilis, passing through Ouazan and other Rif villages. We will explore the Roman ruins of Volubilis and discover the rich history of Morocco. We will continue our way to Meknes, where we will stop for lunch and explore the ancient walls of the medina, Bab el Mansour and the shrine of Moulay Ismail. In the late afternoon we will be on our way to Fez, where we will spend the night.

Day 3: Guided tour of Fez

We will start the day discovering the oldest city in Morocco, walking through its alleys and narrow streets. The visit will start at the gate of the Royal Palace, followed by the Jewish headquarters where the first Mellah of Morocco was built in the 16th century. We will be sure to visit all the cultural and historical points of interest, including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region. We will also visit the tanneries, the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss and the Attarine museum. After lunch, we will visit different cooperatives and then we will contemplate a wonderful panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fez.

Day 4: Fez – Rabat – Casablanca

Fez consists of three different parts; Fez el Bali (UNESCO World Heritage Site) is the oldest of the three, with more than 9,000 narrow streets and alleys fortified by a great wall, Fez-Jdid “the new Fez” (home of the Jewish quarter) and the “new city”, the newest sector of Fez created during the French occupation. We will then head to Rabat and on to Casablanca.

Day 5: Casablanca – Assilah – Tangier

Today we will continue from Casablanca to Assilah and from there to Tangier, where we will finish our 5 Days Morocco itinerary from Tangier

Family Travel

Just returned from a family trip (2 adults + 2 children aged 4 and 11 years) of 3 days / 2 nights with Ouhaya. Absolutely perfect in everything, from the departure from Marrakech to the passage through Ouarzazate before the Dades Gorges. Visit to other gorges, and different kasbahs and the apotheosis in Merzouga. A sandstorm in the desert, but an absolutely unforgettable stay. 6 young adults prepare us a gargantuan dinner before a musical evening. We get up at 6.30 am to see the sunrise over the Saharan dunes: phenomenal! Return to Merzouga after a hearty breakfast on a camel. Back to Marrakech, 9 hours of travel that pass surprisingly quickly because of the exceptional beauty of the landscape. Thanks again to Oumaya (and Elena for preparing the trip).

Trustworthy

Thanks to Hassan we were able to know the Berber essence and some incredible corners. To highlight the good education of the guide and that they speak very good Spanish. The only negative thing is that we would have liked to spend more time. What we liked the most was that they invited us to eat a typical Berber meal with their family, it was a great detail. We are looking forward to repeat but as a family. Hassan is a great guide. Thank you very much for making it an unforgettable trip.
