Itinerary:

Día 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Zagora:

After breakfast, we’ll start our 2 days Zagora desert tour from Marrakech. We’ll leave the hotel or Riad and head south, crossing the High Atlas through the port of Tizi-N-tichka at an altitude of 2,260 meters. You can enjoy spectacular views and incredible mountain scenery.

We will visit the city of Ouarzazate and the Kasbah Taourirte. We’ll cross the Draa Valley (the longest palm grove in Morocco), which stretches all the way to Zagora.

You will leave the 4×4 there, and enjoy a 1-hour camel ride to reach the camp. Accommodation will be in nomadic tents, after all, where you’ll enjoy a magical night in the desert.

Day 2: Zagora – Draa Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech:

After breakfast, we’ll set off in our 4×4 in the direction of Ouarzazate. We’ll cross the mountains of the Draa Valley and visit the beautiful Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

A memorable experience!

An unforgettable experience. After seeing several negative comments, we embarked on this adventure with some trepidation, but once there, our opinion clearly changed. The conditions are by no means ideal, but given the context it is perfectly adequate. My only regret is not being able to spend more time in Ouarzazate, which I think was the most negative aspect of the trip. The camel ride and the stay in the desert were amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and always made us feel at ease, as if we were at home. The trip through the Atlas Mountains allowed us to see breathtaking scenery.

Unforgettable desert trip

We did a 2 day trip from Marrakech leaving around 7.30 from our Riad in the Medina. We stopped at several points to take pictures, have a coffee, go to the bathroom and had a beautiful view of the Atlas Mountains. In the afternoon we visited Ait ben Haddou, which was well worth a visit. In Zagora, we rode camels for 1 . 5 h until we reached the Berber camp, where we ate a beautiful tajine and had a wonderful night experience. However, trying to sleep in the tents (at least without the door open) was almost impossible because it was so hot. After returning by camel (30 minutes or so), we headed to Ouarzazate for a visit and finally returned to Marrakech around 7pm. The driver was excellent and the overall experience amazing.

Sunset in the desert

It is a must!!! All the staff involved are amazing Younes, Rachid, Abdul and the camp staff. The camels and the tent are on another level. If you can improve the tent, it will improve your experience; if not, it is still very good. It is worth every penny.

Good experience

Excellent! Tour

Excellent customer service

Hamid was our guide for the whole trip, he was amazing! He picked us up from the hotel, we visited various tourist spots along the way, he took us to the best places for lunch and coffee and he was very friendly and attentive!!! Arriving in the desert was incredible! A camel ride for 1h to our camp, we had dinner, a party between everyone and a great breakfast! Looking forward to the next trip!!! It was well worth it!!!
