12 days Morocco tour from Casablanca

Day 1: Casablanca

On thz furst day of our 12 days Morocco tour from Casablanca, an airport transfer will be organized so that we can continue with a brief visit to the city. The Hassan II mosque, one of the largest in the world, will be the highlight of this day’s program. We’ll stroll along the city’s avenues, observing architectural details and noticing some curiosities. The first night will be spent in Casablanca.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, we will leave Casablanca behind and travel to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, where we will have the opportunity to visit the most significant sights, such as the Royal Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower. At the end of the day we will arrive in Chefchaouen, the beautiful blue Moroccan city, where dinner will be served and where we will spend the second night of our 12 days Morocco tour from Casablanca

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Fes

After breakfast, we’ll start our journey towards Fes, one of Morocco’s most important imperial cities. Guided tour of the interesting UNESCO World Heritage site of the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Arrival in Fes in the late afternoon.

Day 4: Fes

In Fes we will be accompanied by a local guide who will show us around the city. It will be a full-day program, justified by the historical and architectural richness of the city. After all, Fes is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to one of the oldest universities in the world. After a day exploring the city, we’ll have dinner and sleep in Fes.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Todra Ziz – Merzouga Desert

After breakfast we’ll start our journey south into the Sahara desert. After crossing the cedar forest in Ifrane and Azrou, we pass through Midelt and the magnificent palm grove in the Ziz Valley. We arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon to sleep by the Erg Chebbi dunes.

Day 6: Merzouga – Khamlia – Merzouga

After breakfast, we will visit the Merzouga area, stopping in the village of Khamlia to watch a traditional Gnawa music show. The inhabitants of this village have a particular characteristic: they come from Mali and have brought with them very specific cultural forms. The afternoon will be relaxed, with free time. And dinner on the last night in the desert will be special, accompanied by drum music.

Day 7: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

From Merzouga we’ll head towards the Dades Valley, a magnificent place, but first we’ll pass through the Todra gorge, with its rocky walls that rise to over 300 meters high. Arrival at the Dades Gorges in the late afternoon.

Day 8: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate

We’ll start the journey to Ouarzazate, exploring a little more of the Dades, and visiting the famous Oasis of Skoura and its impressive palm grove, which will take us to Ouarzazate to visit the Kasbah Taourirt.

Day 9: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

In the morning we’ll visit the most significant sites in Ouarzazate, including a visit to the Atlas film studios. When we’ve finished, we’ll set off for Ait Ben Haddou. This ksar is classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site and has been the setting for some well-known films, such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia and Asterix and Cleopatra. This will mainly be a day on the road, as we travel from Ait Ben Haddou to Marrakech, crossing the Atlas Mountains. In this great city we will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 10: Marrakech

After breakfast, we will take a grand tour of the city of Marrakech in the company of a local guide. We’ll visit a long list of places of historical and architectural importance, especially the grandiose Jemaa el Fna square. Other points of interest will be the Majorelle Gardens, the Saadian tombs, the Marrakech Jewish Quarter and the Bahia Palace. The last night will be spent in Marrakech.

Day 11: Marrakech – Essaouira – Marrakech

Day to continue your journey from Marrakech to the coastal town of Essaouira, where you can appreciate the centuries-old architecture of the fusion of various peoples. This UNESCO World Heritage city is one of the best and most important destinations to visit in Morocco. Return to Marrakech in the late afternoon.

Day 12: Marrakech – Casablanca

After breakfast we will travel to Casablanca, where our 12 days Morocco tour from Casablanca will end. If you wish, you will be transferred to the airport. This will be the end of our services.
