3 Days Tour from Errachidia to Merzouga desert

Day 1: Errachidia – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga

The furst day of our 3 Days Tour from Errachidia to Merzouga. Pick up from airport or hotel in Errachidia to Erg Chebbi passing by the blue spring of Meski, the Ziz valley, the marble and fossil workshop of Erfoud, then break for lunch (Arabic Pizza) in Rissani. In the afternoon, we will continue with a beautiful tour of the great oases of the region, visiting the famous ksar Abdel Halim. Continuation to the great dry lake of Serji in Merzouga to reach the Golden Dunes and contemplate a wonderful sunset, followed by dinner and overnight in a local Kasbah hotel.

Day 2: Merzouga – Nomadic families – Oasis – Khamlia – Merzouga

At 9 a.m., after breakfast, we will start the excursion through the dunes of Erg Chebbi to explore the Saharan life. We will cross desert landscapes such as salt lakes, black desert with volcanic rocks, rivers… the Paris-Dakar tracks meeting Berber nomads, old Mifis mines, small oasis and villages such as Khamlia of the Gnaouas people (black people from Sudan). After lunch, which will be on the road, return to the hotel to go out on camelback to watch the sunset and sunrise in the desert, enjoying a quiet night under the nomad tents and the shooting stars…. ¡!

Day 3: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Errachidia

After watching the sunrise in your camp, breakfast and shower. We head to Errachidia by a different track route, visiting fossil quarries in the middle of the desert. And via Erfoud, we border the fascinating Ziz valley to reach Errachidia in the afternoon. You will have the opportunity to visit the great dam and the Ziz gorges in the evening and at the end of our 3 Days Tour from Errachidia to Merzouga.
