On this excursion, you will discover the beautiful scenery surrounding the Atlas Mountains and hike to the waterfalls of Sette Fatma.

We will pick you up at your hotel/raid to start our trip and head to one of the most well-known and accessible valleys among the High Atlas Mountains, the Ourika Valley. Many residents of Marrakech have made this valley their favorite place to spend the weekend.

After a short walk, you can take a break in an authentic Berber house with a delicious, refreshing, and typical mint tea. You will also gain insight into the local Berber culture, such as their traditional family structure and unique way of life. There is also the possibility to stop at the souks (traditional markets) along the road (this can be done on Mondays and Thursdays).
At 17:00 hours we return to Marrakech leaving you at your Hotel/Raid.

Awesome excursion

We did it with a guide in a private car (without other companions) and he took us to a Berber house for tea, and showed us the typical things. To go up to the waterfall from the village, it is best to wear sports or hiking shoes and comfortable clothes because you have to go up some steep paths. It is worth it, although everything is very deserted, it is an excursion that takes you to a small waterfall and where you can enjoy unique views. We had lunch there in a bar, fast and good; no complaints.

The trip was very good a little delay with the flight and quite a few passport controls to exit and enter the Menara airport, but apart from that part I loved the trip to Marrakech, we also hired a Berber guide named Nabil who spoke English and from the first moment contact with us as if he were one of the group, We spent two days with him the first day we went to the Ourika valley, it is very nice and the second day he took us to the palm grove of Marrakech to ride a camel and show us around was very good, the price was affordable but in any case you can reach an agreement, overall a GREAT trip.

Interesting experience

We had a lovely excursion to the Ourika valley, the driver Moha from Sahara Morocco Tours was very kind and friendly, we were picked up almost at the door and the trip was smooth. Our guide Hassan was also amazing, he showed us the best places in the valley and attended to our numerous requests to take our pictures in the most picturesque places. We hiked up to the waterfalls, in total it was about 1 h 30 minutes of hiking and it was quite spectacular. On our way back we stopped at a lovely restaurant by the river and had a delicious lunch. All in all an amazing trip, we would recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech.
