8 Days Morocco Tour from Tangier

Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen

We pick you up at the airport or hotel and travel to the small blue fortress town called xauen Its buildings and houses are painted blue and white and is one of the most beautiful towns in the Rif Mountains. You will have free time to explore Chefchaouen on your own. Overnight in local Riad in the Medina. Overnight in Riad.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast, we will head to Meknes, where you can visit luxurious palaces and beautiful mosques as well as one of the most important souks of Morocco. We will continue our journey to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight in Fez. Overnight in Riad.

Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt

Departure to Midelt via Ifrane called the ‘Moroccan Switzerland’ due to the architectural style of this city, and the forest of Azrou where we stop to enjoy watching the monkeys as they climb through the cedars, then continue the route to the mountains of the Middle Atlas. Arrival in Midelt. Overnight in hotel.

Day 4: Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

We leave Midelt direction Merzouga, we head towards Errachidia, then we pass in the Ziz Valley, we continue our tour to Erfoud, Here we can explore products and fossil factories, after arriving in Merzouga, we will ride camels to a Berber desert camp located in the middle of the desert of Erg Chebbi. the camel ride takes about 45 minutes. Dinner in the desert and enjoy the night in the desert, a starry night accompanied by the silence of the desert. Drums party……(An unforgettable night!!)

Day 5: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate

Breakfast and departure, passing through the town of Rissani, former Sijilmassa, supply center of the ancient caravans from the Sahara. Continuing our journey through a semi-desert landscape, we reach the oasis of Tinghir, possibly one of the most beautiful places in Morocco. Going up the Todra River, we will reach its impressive gorges of more than 300m high. After a brief visit to the village, we will take the route of the thousand kasbahs, to reach Ouarzazate one of the most important cities in southern Morocco, and known for its intense film activity, counting to his credit with films like Gladiator, Troy, The Mummy …..etc.Visit the Kasbah Taourirt. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 6: Ouarzazate – Kasbah ait ben Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, we will take the road towards Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, the queen of kasbahs, declared a World Heritage Site. Then by one of the most beautiful tracks of Morocco, we arrive at the kasbah of Telouet, the former palace of the Glagui, Pacha of Marrakech. Continuing along a winding road, we will pass through the highest mountain pass Tizi n Tichca (2,260 m) to reach the imperial city of Marrakech, the capital of the Great South. Overnight in Riad.

Day 7: Marrakech City Tour

Departure in the morning with our guide to see the most spectacular of all Marrakech, one of the 4 imperial cities of Morocco. Famous for its numerous monuments recognized as World Heritage, during the tour, you will admire the main attractions of the Red Medina The Jamaa el Fna square, the Saadies Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Mosque, Medersa ben Youssef and Majorelle garden, and the souks filled with deferent colors, the guide will be happy to give you the advice you need to enjoy the rest of your stay knowing that all our tour guides live in Marrakech, are mostly women and have a degree in Hispanic philology. At the end of the tour, return to the riad.

Day 8: Marrakech Airport
