Sahara Morocco Tours is an official travel partner of BMW Motorrad. We operate our own fleet of BMW GS motorcycles – so you can be sure that the bikes are very well maintained and in perfect condition. The company is run by European guides and owners.

We have BMW-certified tour guides and, on off-road motorcycle tours, the lead guide is a BMW-certified off-road instructor. We will never go cheap on hotels, we believe that great accommodation, clean and delicious food is also a part of a motorcycle adventure, as is a fresh beer after the ride. This 9-day trip pampers the rider both on and off the bike, at every stop. From the idyllic waters of the Oualidia lagoon, you’ll ride down the Atlantic coast to the resort town of Essaouira, spotting flamingos and tasting oysters along the way. After a rejuvenating stop at a yoga and spa retreat, we’ll head inland through the imposing port of Tizi n’Test and along the winding roads of the High Atlas National Park. After curves and clifftop views, we’ll descend into the imperial city of Marrakech, where you can explore the ancient medina, snake charmers and food stalls. When you have finished exploring, you can reflect on your trip by the hotel pool or at the spa. Some of the highlights of this trip include the Oualidia lagoon, the Atlantic coast, the resort town of Essaouira, tree-climbing goats, the Tizi n’Test pass and the imperial city of Marrakech.

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Arrival in Marrakech Transfer to the hotel, where you can settle in and relax by the pool to prepare for the next morning’s trip. You will meet your guide, as well as the other participants, and attend a welcome briefing, before our welcome dinner.

Day 2 : Marrakech – Essaouira (approx. 220 km)

In the morning you will be transferred to our workshop to pick up your bike and complete the formalities prior to the start of our Morocco Motorcycle Adventure Tour. On our first day we will discover the vast plains stretching between the Atlas Mountains and the Ocean. Our route will take us through small country roads to our first stop: the stellar coastal town of Essaouira and we will most likely have the opportunity to see the goats perched in the argan trees along the way. In the afternoon we will visit the city, an exceptional example of a late 18th century fortified city, built according to the principles of contemporary European military architecture in a North African context and Bob Marley’s favorite city. You will have the opportunity to explore the old medina, stroll along the wide sandy beach or enjoy the relaxed souks and stellar seafood.

Day 3 : Essaouira – Agadir (approx. 150 km)

Today’s Adventure Trip will take us along one of the most amazing coastal roads in Morocco. We will cross the Souss-Massa National Park, where you will also have the opportunity to see numerous goats climbing the argan trees. In the afternoon we will arrive at our paradise for the next two days, a fantastic surf hotel and yoga retreat with beautiful SPA facilities and on-site surf school right on the beach. Day 4 : Rest day in Agadir – optional visit to Paradise Valley You can enjoy your rest day by taking surf or yoga lessons on the beach or opt for a short day trip by bike to Paradise Valley and Immouzer Waterfall. This ride runs along small winding roads along the river, offering unique scenery. We will then park the bikes and take a short hike to explore the natural water ponds and even take a swim if we feel like it.

Day 4 : Agadir – Mirleft (approx. 140 km)

In the morning, we will leave our hotel and cross the city of Agadir to reach the southern coastal road leading to Mirleft. We will head to the beach of Legzira, where you can stroll along the vast sandy beaches and under the beautiful arches carved by the sea on the cliffs.

Day 5 : Mirleft – Tafraoute (approx. 150 km)

Early departure to Tafraoute through the small and winding roads of the Anti-Atlas. We will travel along small national roads where the curves and twists and turns become more and more frequent as we approach the mountains. You will greatly enjoy this ride on roads where traffic is less common than around the cities. Before arriving at our accommodation and a well-deserved dinner, we will take the tracks to explore the famous painted rocks and enjoy a sunset like no other.

Day 6 : Tafraoute – Taroudant (approx. 150 km)

Another wonderful day of riding on winding mountain roads combined with beautiful scenery awaits us as we cycle towards Taroudant. Our stop for the day will be at a riad surrounded by the ancient city walls. Before dinner, we will head to the bustling center and explore the souk, to get a glimpse of local life in a less touristy atmosphere. This is a great opportunity to buy argan oil or the legendary Moroccan saffron that grows in this area.

Day 7 : Taroudant – Ouirgane (approx. 160 km)

This day of Adventure Travel will delight everyone as we ride through the famous Moroccan pass of Tizi n’Test to ascend over 2,100 meters into the Atlas Mountains. Our ride will take us through the High Atlas National Park, where we will enjoy plenty of hairpin bends and hairpin turns before arriving at our overnight stop, the remote village of Ouirgane. A truly chill out place, which also offers endless opportunities for hiking in the area.

Day 8: Ouirgane – Marrakech (approx. 80 km)

Today’s short drive will take us through the Atlas Mountains before descending to Marrakech. During today’s stage, you will enjoy the breathtaking views of the High Atlas Mountains and ride along curvy roads on perfect asphalt. We will spend the afternoon on a guided tour of Marrakech, to explore the Old Medina, the Jamaa el Fna square with the snake charmers and their food stalls, the Majorelle Garden, and there will be plenty of opportunities to buy some gifts and souvenirs if you wish. You may also opt for a relaxing afternoon by the pool or refreshing SPA treatments at the hotel.

Day 9: Marrakech Airport

Depending on the time of your flight, you can take the opportunity to relax or visit the city before the pick-up service takes you to the airport. and the end of our Morocco Motorcycle Adventure Tour.
